  • Can we bring our own drinks?
    We have recently invested in our capacity to offer a wider range of beer, wines and spirits, with over 50 items on board available for purchase and we truly thank you for supporting us as we aren't able to cater for BYO.
  • What is included in the Signature Four-Course Dinner Sunset Cruise?
    Our Signature Sunset Cruise includes a delicious four-course dinner crafted from the finest local ingredients. You’ll enjoy fresh seafood, premium grilled dishes, and a selection of regional specialties, all paired perfectly with stunning views of Darwin’s iconic sunset.
  • How long is the sunset cruise?
    The sunset cruise lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, giving you plenty of time to relax, enjoy the meal, and take in the breathtaking views as the sun sets over Darwin Harbour.
  • How do we get there?
    Cape Adieu is located at Stokes Hill Wharf in Darwin. Head to Dock 3 at the very end of the Wharf on the right hand side to board the boat, or come and say G’day at the office in the middle of the wharf!
  • What should I wear on the sunset cruise?
    We recommend wearing comfortable, casual clothing and flat, non-slip shoes. Don’t forget to bring a hat, sunscreen, and your camera to capture the unforgettable views!
  • Do I need to make a reservation in advance?
    Yes, we highly recommend booking in advance to secure your spot, especially during peak seasons or holidays. Reservations can be made online or by contacting our team directly.
  • Is there a bar available on the sunset cruise?
    Yes, the Cape Adieu is equipped with a fully licenced bar, offering a selection of wines, beers, and soft drinks. You can enjoy a refreshing drink while taking in the scenic views of the Top End, and our crew is happy to recommend a pairing with your dinner.
  • Do you cater to special dietary requirements?
    Yes, we can cater to most dietary requirements with prior notice. Please inform us when booking. Just let us know in the ‘Special Requirements’ section of the booking form when booking online.
  • Is the cruise suitable for kids?
    Yes, our cruises are family friendly. However, as we have limited seating available and dinner is a set menu, we aren’t able to offer discounted prices for kids. However, you are welcome to book cruise only tickets and bring your own tucker for the kids! (Kids under 3 cruise free.)
  • Is the sunset cruise suitable for special occasions?
    Absolutely! Our sunset cruise is the perfect setting for a romantic evening, birthday celebration, anniversary, or any special occasion. The intimate atmosphere, luxurious dining, and stunning scenery make it a memorable experience.
  • What should I bring on a single day fishing charter?
    We recommend bringing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a camera. We also provide all necessary fishing gear and tackle, so no need to bring your own unless you prefer. We also provide a light lunch, eskies, water and ice, but if you would like alcoholic beverages, please bring these with you.
  • What type of fish can I catch on a single day charter?
    Depending on the season and tides, you can expect to catch a variety of fish, including barramundi, golden snapper, threadfin salmon, mackerel, black jewfish, queensfish, tuna and trevally, among others. We’ll take you to some of the best fishing grounds in the Top End for an exciting and rewarding day on the water.
  • What happens if the weather conditions are not suitable for fishing?
    Your safety and comfort are our top priority. If weather conditions are not safe for fishing, we’ll reschedule your trip or offer a full refund. Our experienced crew monitors weather forecasts closely and will always ensure the best possible conditions for your adventure.
